Westfield Scout Expo 2024

To the best of my knowledge, the participant has no pre-existing condition that would limit their ability to participate fully in
all activities included in this event. I understand that inherit dangers exist and that severe injuries or death could result from
their voluntary participation. I understand that the participant will be climbing on a rope bridge and climbing wall, building
bridges with high-tension ropes and timbers, building shelters with natural materials, building fires, throwing tomahawks
at targets, and interacting with nature in ways that may be dangerous. I understand that the participant will be exposed to
natural hazards such as insects, wild animals, fire, standing and flowing water, and New England weather. Knowing all this, and
accepting all risks, I do hereby give my approval of their participation. I assume all risks and hazards related to the conduct
of all activities, and do further release, absolve, indemnify and hold harmless the Scouting America, Western Massachusetts
Council, Chartered Scouting Units, Charter Organizations, the sponsors, the property owners, equipment providers, scouts and
adult leaders of participating Scouting America Troops and Venture Crews, any and all of them.
